When Studio Lotus was handed the interesting combination project of Keya & Kainoosh, the instructions were clear—create a sophisticated Indian fine dining restaurant and bar. The challenge was that there was to be a common kitchen for both entities.

The real task was to establish a relationship between the two brands that made the kitchen an intersecting diagonal block and at the same time granted individualistic characters to both the spaces it catered to. <rt-red>Keya, meaning “flower”, was developed keeping the bar as the focal point. It was made into an in-lit Corian island bar, which held the entire design together, having a combination of fibre-cement board and bronze mirror in floral tessellations to wrap around this space, giving it a silent illuminated aura of beauty.<rt-red>
